Me and my partner attended Comedy Carnival and had a wonderful evening full of laughter. The comedians and the host were hilarious. Upon arrival we were shown to our seats and the show began promptly. Bar service was quick and guests given the opportunity to use the toilet and grab another drink during an interval between acts. Highly recommended!
Great space, and on the night we went they had 3 comedians and a host. A broad range of sets meant there was something for everyone. Reasonable prices, but have taken a star off because they dont accept Amex. There's no excuse for a venue in Covent Garden not to be accepting Amex.
I went Saturday night to the comedy show at the Comedy Carnival in Covent garden and had such a blast! All 3 comedians and the MC were very funny and was laughing from the start to finish. One thing I've learned when dealing with a french comedian - don't tell him you're drinking prosecco or any other wine than french... it's going to end in tears of laughter. I recommend this venue and show to others, I have been to other comedy clubs and this so far was the best.
Great night out. There were 3 stand up comedians; we particularly enjoyed Mr Ignacio Lopez’s performance. The waiters were friendly & welcoming & the venue was well set up, very central & easy to find, prices were very reasonable. All in all a great experience to be repeated and good value.
A great evening of fun and laughter. Great and easy to find venue. Great compare and comedians. Good bar. Quite an intimate venue. If you fancy a great laugh … it’s a no brained. Combine it with an early supper at Monmouth Kitchen …. A1 evening 👍 …
The Comedy Carnival venue in Covent Garden is a great place to watch up and coming stand-up comedians in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bar is easy to reach and the prices are affordable. We went there on a Friday night during our stay in London. We almost didn't have to wait in line in order to get in. The comedians, as for them, had outstanding sets and we had a great time. A great show for a low price makes it a must see !
Really enjoyed our first time at the Comedy Carnival. The comedians were all really entertaining and would definitely recommend as a great evening out. The facilities were really clean and we liked being able to use the bar after the show.
Great little venue, very efficiently run. There were three (very good) comedians on the night, with two intervals for drinks - the bar was easy and quick to be served at, and you were back seated ready for the next act. Only issue was a queue for the ladies toilets each time, but it went down quickly and didn’t make me late for any of the acts!
This was our first visit to Comedy Carnival, but it won't be our last. With so many comedy venues in London it's hard to pick, but all the acts on the night we went were proper belly laugh superb. There wasn't any laboring of picking on audience members and each act had a well honed routine. They are also very keen on keeping this as an audience/act kind of show rather than a drunken free-for-all, which to my mind is the better way of doing things. The venue at first appearance looked to be a multifunction room, but the lighting and sound have been done well so that when the show starts it does seem to feel more like a club. With some of the more established shows selling their early evening slot out well in advance, I'd strongly suggest checking these guys out. We managed to book the 8:30 show 5 days in advance but as it was sold out on the night I wouldn't leave it too late!
Had a fantastic night out watching some hilarious comedians. If you haven’t reserved seat I would advise you arriving early as the remaining seats are given on a first come first serve basis. Will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend.
